: B. Com. (Bachelor of Commerce) is three year undergraduate program for 10+2 pass out students. Student from the Commerce streams are eligible to pursue the bachelor degree course. The course is designed to offers wide range of understanding in Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Taxation and Insurance. During the three year course student learn about general business principles, analytical and managerial skills required in the field of commerce and business management. After completion of the course student can pursue higher study such as M.Com, Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretary Etc. or chose various job opportunities available in the field of finance and accounting.

Program Outcome:

B. Com program is designed to obtain the following out comes:

• Ability to understand the basic principles and concept of commerce and accounts to study and understand the business and corporate accounts.

• Enable the students to analyse and evaluate the financial data to interpret the financial condition of any organization.

• Develop knowledge and skill set to analyse and prepare financial document income statements, retained earnings, balance sheets and statement of cash flows used for management and decision making.

• Ability to understand various rules and regulations of taxation, calculation of taxable income, banking procedure and corporate transaction.

• Ability to understand the auditing procedure, techniques and skills to generate program specific outcome.

• Ability to understand and analyse the Custom Act, C. G State, Excise Act and Goods and Service Tax PSO 8 to study the financial scenario.

• Provide skills and knowledge to produce competent professionals in the field of commerce and make them capable to become entrepreneur.

• Ability to pursue higher study and prepare for advance course such as CA, ICWA, Company Secretary Etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

10+2 from any government recognized board (Central/ State) in Commerce discipline.
