B.Com (Computer Application)

(Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Application) is a three year undergraduate program for 10+2 pass out students. This course deals with various aspects of Commerce and Accounting along with Computer Science. Program is combination of Commerce and Computer Applications for the students belongs to commerce disciplines that require knowledge of computers. It is designed to offers wide range of understanding of Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Taxation, and Insurance along with Computer Application. It also provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of Computer Programming, Applications, and Software Development along with Business Management. This course is mainly for students who have interest and aptitude for computer programming and commerce.

Program Outcomes: 

B. Com program is designed to obtain the following outcome:

• Ability to understand the basic principles and concept of commerce and accounts to study and understand the business and corporate accounts.

• Enable the students to analyse and evaluate the financial data to interpret the financial condition of any organization.

• Develop knowledge and skill set to analyse and prepare financial document income statements, retained earnings, balance sheets and statement of cash flows used for management and decision making.

• Ability to understand various rules and regulations of taxation, calculation of taxable income, banking procedure and corporate transaction.

• Ability to understand the auditing procedure, techniques and skills to generate program specific outcome.

• Ability to understand and analyse the Custom Act, C. G State, Excise Act and Goods and Service Tax PSO 8 to study the financial scenario.

• Provide skills and knowledge to produce competent professionals in the field of commerce and make them capable to become entrepreneur.

• Ability to pursue higher study and prepare for advance course such as CA, ICWA, Company Secretary Etc.

Eligibility Criteria:

10+2 from any government recognised board (Central/ State) in Commerce or Science discipline.
