M. Com

M. Com. (Master of Commerce) is two year post graduate program for the commerce graduates. Students, who completed their bachelor degree in the commerce, are eligible to pursue the masters in commerce. Course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills in the field of Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Management and Economics. It ensures that students receive in- depth knowledge and understanding, what they have learned in the graduation program. The course provides various opportunities in the field of teaching, research and in the corporate sector as well.

Program Outcome

M. Com program is designed to obtain the following out comes:

• Ability to understand the advance principles and concept of commerce and accounts to study and understand the commercial accounts.

• Develop knowledge and skill of critical thinking and problem solving ability to contribute in decision making in continuous changing business environment.

• Ability to communicate effectively, work in inclusive environment and understand different prospects of various stack holders to make better coordination.

• Develop the ability and skill sets to pursue advance courses and research work in the field of commerce and accounting.

• Ability to analyse and implement the procedure of taxation, filling returns, corporate taxes and various other rules and regulations of financial activities.

• Ability to understand the relevance of social and ethical issues of fair corporate practices.

• Ability to understand the impact of social economical factors in the field of commerce and motivate students for entrepreneurship.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in commerce discipline with minimum 50% marks. ( Min 45% for reserved and disable candidates)
