In pursuance of the guidelines issued by the Supreme Court, UGC and in pursuance of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal ) Act, 2013, an Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell (Internal Complaints Committee) has been constituted to provide Healthy and congenial environment for all staff members and students and to consider complaints regarding sexual harassment.
1. Preventing sexual harassment by promoting awareness of the issue of gender equality among staff, students and other employees.
2. Timely disposal of cases of sexual harassment by providing sympathetic assistance to the victim and ensuring prevention of harassment through proper redressal of the case.
3. Recommending suitable action against defaulters to concerned regulatory agencies like management, government bodies etc.
4. To ensure a safe environment for the students in the college.
Women cell aims at empowering and orienting women to recognize their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competing world. Its goal is the overall development in all spheres of their life. The targeted group includes all UG, PG students, women from nearby community and primary and secondary level students of nearby schools.
• To enhance self esteem and self confidence among women students and staff • To foster decision making ability • To increase awareness of women related social issues, health, employment and gender related matters • To realize role of women in building up of a healthy society.
Regular cleaning schedule in college is a must. Ensuring that college is well maintained is conducive to productivity and increases the likelihood of attracting more students. So a cleanliness committee has been formed to inspect various parts of the college from time to time and take necessary measures for ensuring hygiene and cleanliness.
Shaildevi mahavidyalaya is committed to providing a safe, fair and harmonious learning and work environment. Grievance Redressal Cell was set up in accordance with the University Grants Commission regulations 2012 (The Gazette of India, March 23-29, 2013) for handling day-to-day grievances related to students and parents. Grievance Redressal Cell facilitates the resolution of grievances in a fair and impartial manner involving the respective School / Dept. / Office (dealing with the substantive function connected with the grievance), maintaining necessary confidentiality, as the case may be.
Anti-Ragging Committee was formed in our institution to ensure compliance with the provisions of Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging; and also, to monitor and oversee the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
The Cell's responsibility is to ensure that students maintain discipline in the classrooms and within the college campus. Members of the cell regularly go on rounds to each and every classroom to make note of delinquent behavior and to make sure that the college campus is free from ragging and eve-teasing. The Cell takes severe punitive action against students indulging in such atrocious activities.
OBJECTIVES :-
1. To prevent any physical or mental torture or any disorderly conduct towards any student causing apprehension, dread, humiliation, or agitation in him or her.
2. To maintain a ragging free campus.
3. To create awareness about ragging & ensure a student-friendly environment at all times.
4. To facilitate campus monitoring to ensure nil ragging.

The time Table committee of shaildevi mahavidyalaya recognizes the importance of time and ensures proper utilization for students which makes them organized and uses time effectively to maximize chance of success hence increasing productivity. The committee prepare the class time table at the beginning of each semester/year with the active involvement of the committee members by collecting data on teaching load distribution of individual faculty members, assigning classrooms. By referring to the class timetables, prepare the timetables of individual faculty members. Make the class time tables available in the notice board for students reference and send a copy of timetable to all faculties.
The Library Committee exists to support educational programs through research into areas such as core competencies and trends in the delivery of education, and to recommend the development of programs focused on emerging topics of interest and concern to the library community.
Teaching and evaluation are two sides of a coin. Exams play key role in evaluation . Exam is a confidential section with the responsibility of smooth conduct of internal assessment, Test , practical examination and university examination for all courses in fair and systematic manner. We Guide the students regarding examination and manage to ensure mark list of students should submit by teachers to exam cell in due dates and the statement of marks are given to students within stipulated time. Exam grievances cell takes necessary action to process the remuneration bill on time. Exam Cell is working under the direct supervision of the principal and in semester and annual examinations , we appoint exam centre superintendant also assistant superintendants .
Discipline Committee maintains discipline, dignity, decorum and rapport of the institute. Controlling the students through rules and regulations and channelization their youth energy into positive and creative direction and promotion of the manners, personality, character and civilization.

The sports committee in the Shaildevi Mahavidyalaya is committed to provide a healthy sporting culture in the college. It helps to learn teamwork at work place coordination and cooperation among diverse cultural and ethnic groups. It mainly infuses discipline and promote the value system in individuals. Students also learn the value of time, coordination and competitiveness along with communication, mutual respect and teamwork. In the current scenario sports is not only beneficial for physical and mental health; and it is not only played for the purpose of entertainment. It has become a strong career prospects for the aspirants. It provides various opportunities to build excellent career in the field of games and sports. Lots of job opportunities are available in various sectors, importantly in armed forces, where physical fitness is the basic criteria to qualify. Other than armed forces physical fitness become important for various jobs in government sectors. The sports committee is dedicated towards the betterment of sports and players. Excellent sports facilities are provided to the students along with professional trainer and coaches. College motivates and facilitates students to participate and perform well in various tournaments. the college promotes students perform excellent in sports at the university level; they are facilitated to participate at the State, National and International level. The most important learning from the sports is “to not only go for win or lose”. It teaches to enjoy the process and participation; regardless of success or failure. It also prepares students to accept defeat gracefully and celebrate the win with humbleness.
